Hedgerow Initiative Hedgerow Wisdom Ways

The Hedgerow Initiative highlights the scholarship of women who since the 1950's have worked to reclaim women's presence and significance in scripture, church history, theology and culture. The Initiative takes its name from the hedgerow schools in Ireland that kept alive the language, faith, culture and community of the people during the time of the British penal codes.

See Hedgerow Initiative for more information.

The Sisters of St. Joseph Ministries Foundation

Through its six primary ministries and related programs, the Sisters’ passion and influence are working small miracles everyday from the Twin Cities to the far corners of the world, through a human network of help, hope and healing.

The Sisters of St. Joseph have been building networks of help and hope throughout the world for more than 350 years. In Minnesota, the Sisters of St. Joseph of Carondelet, St. Paul Province, built the first schools and hospitals where there were none. Today, the Sisters’ network of programs reaches out to new immigrants and refugees and those who are sick, homeless, abused –the people made invisible because of their lack of resources –as well as spiritual seekers from all walks of life.
